Thursday, the Angels offense woke up and while the Blue Jays pitched around Trout, they scored 8 runs and it was plenty.
Tuesday the Angels’ offense threw up 5 runs and it proved barely enough for the win as the bullpen almost choked again.
Even back-to-back home runs by Upton and Pujols weren’t enough to catch up to the Diamondbacks on Monday. It wasn’t the bullpen this time but the pitching wasn’t up to snuff again.
