It’s been a while since I played much World of Warcraft and I only started back up with the new expansion but I encountered something this morning I had never seen before. I had just reached level 12 on my new Beast Master Hunter and was seeking out the Burning Blade in Durotar when an interesting thing happened.

One minute I was hunting with my trusted oar by my side and the next…

I was fighting alongside a demon.

Huh? How’d that happen?

Apparently there’s a buff that these Burning Blade guys can give you that turns you or your pet into a Demon. It was totally unexpected and I thought I had to attack the beast but he was on my side.

Oh well, that’s my gaming story for the day.
