Listened to 1000 episodes of The Break

1000 episodes is a huge milestone and Fr. Roderick has reached that achievement with his podcast – The Break.

He started back in 2005 and I’m pretty sure I started listening around Christmas that year and have listened to every one of his 1000 and more since I’ve listened to many of his other SQPN shows.  While Fr. Roderick may be a Catholic priest, he’s also a huge geek as evidenced by his book Geekpriest and videos he’s produced that have gone viraI love his coverage of things from Lord of the Rings to Star Wars, from Babylon 5 to Star Trek and Dr. Who.  He’s talked about travel to places I only dream of visiting and has reviewed movies I watched and loved on his recommendation and books I couldn’t put down.

And then I enjoy his coverage of Catholicism and even though I went to Catholic school for 12 years, he’s taught me many things.

While you don’t have to listen to all 1000 episodes like I have, I highly recommend that you listen to his show – you’ll definitely find something to like in it.
