Opening to Streaks, Walks, and Pros

Today in my BTG Seven, I look at the first private space walk, another loss for my Angels, my restart in Secret World Legends, and a bit at Blaugust, among other things.

A two-day streak! And with today, if I get this out, I’ll have posted more in the past three days than I have in the past year. I am on a roll, and although this is not during Blaugust, I am still working to get back into regular posting.

This was not just any spacewalk; this was a private spacewalk. It was the first one performed by private citizens. And it was indeed ground (or space) breaking and a massive milestone in humanity’s space age. Billionaire Jared Isaacman and engineer Sarah Gillis tested out new space suits during their EVA and were the first non-governmental, privately funded astronauts to perform a space walk. So cool!

Third up today is much more expected – my Angels lose the series against the Twins. As far as I’m concerned, it’s been a surprising year for the AL Central since they have the potential of sending 2 wild-card teams along with the division leader to the playoffs. Minnesota, KC, and Cleveland all look pretty good this year.

Do I need a PlayStation 5 Pro? I mean, I got my PS5 during the lockdown, and it has served me well, but I’m not sure I need to fork out a ton of money for the small bump in performance – they’re looking for $700! Maybe it’s my aging eyes, but I am not sure I can see much difference in graphics between the Standard and the Pro. I’m sure some people can, and some need always to have the new shiny.

Looking at another of the blogs from Blaugust, this time, I went to Uncountable Thoughts and came across a post about the Blog Roll Club that I might sign up for. At the very least, I’m gonna check some of the sites mentioned in the blog roll to see who’s all in the club and maybe fire up my Six Degrees posts again.

Move Ring Complete…today I added 3.86 miles to my running log, and it felt good. I’m not running every day yet, but I am getting back into it since I wasn’t feeling too well early last month. I’m gonna add up my miles again soon to see how far I’ve gone.

Today, I needed to decide between Pangolynn and Daikon, and I’m gonna move forward with Pangolynn for my Secret World Legends character. Both are focused on Elemental and Chaos Magic, but I like the name Pangolynn better. They’re both only level 2, so there’s no real loss in game time, so I think now is the time to make the decision.
