Ramble for July 19, 2022

First Pitch…

Ohtani said he would do it and he did – he swung at the first pitch he saw from Clayton Kershaw in the All-Star Game – and he smacked it into center field.

First pitch, first hit, runner on. And the American League was getting things moving.

They did not score in the first. And Ohtani was picked off first base, but they got things rolling and eventually won the game 3–2.

Just a quick little ramble for the day.
