The Robots are Back!
Westworld is such a great show, and I am pleased to see it coming back in June.
The Rundown
First off, here are a few things of interest for today…
- Angels Lose Again
After getting swept out of Texas, I expected my team to return to California and regroup. Apparently, that did not happen since they ended up with the same result in their first game back at the Big A. They lost a 4-2 decision to the Athletics that they should have, once again, won. I’m not sure why they’re going through this funk, but I hope it is over soon. They are a much better team than this, and they’re much better than the teams they have been losing to as well. I’m sure they’ll turn things around, but I hate seeing them struggle like this.
- A Second Wild Card Winner is Crowned
Yesterday, Divinity Original Sin 2 took the first match of the tournament by defeating Forza Horizon 5. Today, we get the results of the Star Trek versus Black Desert battle. I’m having fun so far, and the RNG gods have been throwing some surprises at me, so things have been different than I expected, but so far, I am happy with the results. If you want to put in a vote for any of the teams facing current battles, post a comment, and I’ll add it to the calculations.
- The Wild Wild Cards
All the wild card games are either completed or moving to the second half, and it has been a surprising 4 matches so far. My predictions fell flat on the first match, which h saw Divinity win over Forza, but I’m starting to do better. Each of these winners will face tough challenges, though, as they end up facing the number one seeds of their brackets.
The Goods
Gotta Start My Re-Watch
WOW! I am so excited to see this show coming back. While Netflix keeps canceling shows I love, HBO is pulling me in with this one…and the new Game of Thrones!
I was just thinking about when the next season would be coming out when I received an email from HBO…and there it is. They must have mapped my brain patterns to have recognized that I would be thinking about the show.
In any case, June 26 looks like it will be a good day!
It’s a Wrap
As I wind down my rambling today, I’m pulling big time for my Angels to get out of their losing streak. Let’s keep it to 4 and move back to our winning ways.
