Son of the Freeway Finale
Today things slow down a bit as I only find three things to ramble about. That doesn’t make them any less interesting, though. As we gear up for the 2022 MLB season kickoff, the Angels drop their last warmup for the season. I also build up my excitement for the 2022 March Mammal Madness championship tonight, and DC puts out a different Superman as the top release for the week on DC Universe Infinite.
It’s a busy Wednesday so let’s ramble about what’s going on.
The Rundown
- The Angels lose the final game of the Freeway series
- Orca faces off against Pride of Lionesses
- Superman: Son of Kal-El #3 takes the top release on DC Universe Infinite yesterday
The Goods
The Freeway Series Finale
The Angels took the first 2 games from the Dodgers in the battle of LA, but the boys in blue managed to reclaim some respect by shutting down the Angel offense in the finale. While the Angels were shut out, they did have a ray of sunshine in that Michael Lorenzen pitched pretty well in his final warmup before the season begins. Now there’s nothing standing between the Angels and the start of the 2022 MLB season…one in which I feel they will perform well and finally get back to the playoffs.
2022 March Mammal Madness Finale
The apex aquatic mammal against the queens of the African savannah face off tonight in the championship battle of 2022. This is the contest we’ve been waiting for and I think it will be epic. I also think it could very well be significantly impacted by location. Obviously, if we’re in a mostly land arena, the Lions will have an advantage, and if we’re in a mostly fluid environment, I think the Orca will dominate.
I’m thinking the Orca will reign supreme, but we’ll see how things play out tonight.
Another Superman is tops
Yesterday, DC Universe Infinite released the comics from the end of September 2021, and Superman: Son of Kal-El rose to the top of the ratings list. Tom Taylor writes a tale featuring Jonathan Kent as the Man of Steele, and I’m looking forward to reading this story arc as I’ve heard some good things about it.
It’s a Wrap
Young Kent, Angels, Orcas, and Lions all are strong personalities for today, and they contribute to making this April 6th interesting. I’m sure there are plenty of other things going on today, but I felt like focusing on these to ramble about. In any case, I’m looking forward to making the rest of today a good one, and I hope you all have a great day.
