Heading into the Sweet Sixteen of the 2022 March Mammal Madness Tournament

There are 16 competitors in the Sweet 16 of March Mammal Madness, and while they all certainly deserve to be there, I only picked 9 of them to make it this far in the tournament. With that in mind, I’m going to lay out my original picks and see about making a reset selection of winners going forward. I figure I’ll be able to compare my original bracket and my new whittled-down picks for the final 16 teams.

Here is my original bracket based on the first two rounds for the Queens of Sea & Sky and the Why Not Both Divisions on the left and the reset picks based on who is actually left in the Sweet 16….

Here is the same breakdown for the Mammal Collectives and the Wild North America Divisions.

I’m hoping that by resetting my bracket selections, I might end up with a few more victories.

I’m still picking the Grizzly Bear and Orca to make it to the championship match, but their paths to get to the finals are different since things have changed through the first 2 rounds.

We’ll see how things go starting tonight when the Sweet 16 kicks off.
