Results of the Mammal Collective Battles Round 1

The 2022 March Mammal Madness tournament continued last night, and we saw the Mammal Collectives take to the field. Lions and monkeys and beavers and skunks, so many critters in last night’s battles; I think this may very well have been the most populated the arena has been in the 10 years of the MMM.

As usual, my picks got me into trouble. I pretty much have lost the entire bottom half of the bracket as the Monkeys, Reindeer, and Prairie Dogs all lost. I could have sworn the Pandas would simply roll over or just sit there. And the Monkeys lost to a bunch of Wombats?

I suppose the huge size off the Pandas might be terrifying for the Prairie Dogs, and being in an unfamiliar environment might trigger a flight response. As for the Reindeer, there’s another incident of fan interference…when are the arena’s going to increase security to prevent these types of intrusions?

Finally, in another case of interference, the Troop of Monkeys, who have home field advantage, suffer from the knowledge of how deadly a viper can be. Too bad they run to escape the predator while the Wombats threaten it.

Anyway, I won every match in the top of the bracket, so I’m still pretty well off though I thought the Monkeys were going to make it to the Final Roar from this division. Oops!
