The March Gaming Madness Wild Card Matchups
The Wild Card matches are set, and I’ve selected 8 games that will compete to reach the March Gaming Madness Tournament. Actually, I am thinking that since it is already March 21st, I should rebrand my Madness.
Rebranding
I wanted to have a fun tournament of games that would help me decide on one that I would dedicate myself to completing. Since the tournament-style I was going for was based on the March Madness of the NCAA basketball league, I thought March Gaming Madness was a decent choice for the name. The only issue is that I started a bit late and am just finishing up the selection process for my tournament.
So it’s not really a March tournament. It’s still Games, and it’s still MadnessMadness, but it’s not gonna be March by the time the majority of my tournament gets running. So what should I call it?
I’m thinking the best idea would be Rambling Redshirt’s Gaming Madness – RRGM.
It’s a bit more specific to me, and it doesn’t Higgins a timeframe that I will fail to meet.

The winners of the Wild Card matches will face off against the number 1 seeds in the tournament. This should make things interesting since the seeding was all created by a random number generator, so it is conceivable that the Wild Card winners could defeat the number 1 seeds, but we’ll have to see how things play out.
In any case, I’m looking forward to getting started with this process and starting to see how I’m feeling about determining the winners and losers of each match.
