Today I make selections for the 11th and 12th seeds of each of the divisions…

Final Fantasy XIV, with its latest expansion, is looking like a strong competitor at the 12th seed of the Shadows division, and it will be exciting to see who it will face off against and how far it can go in the tournament.
Actually, this whole round of selections seems pretty strong, with a couple of well-regarded single-player games in Horizon Zero Dawn and Red Dead Redemption 2, a Star Wars entry, and one of the latest MMOs released this year. On top of those picks, I have reached endgame previously in Destiny 2, so it is clearly a strong contender.
Only Pillars of Eternity and Control are games that I haven’t tried out so far. They certainly sound like solid entrants, though, and I could see myself doing plenty of research to be able to reach endgame in either of these.
Tomorrow I select seeds 13 and 14.
