March Mammal Madness 2021 Is Here!

March is almost upon us in 2021 and while the NCAA March Madness tournament tends to take center stage, once again the incredible battle for survival that is March Mammal Madness is much more ferocious.

The competitors are getting ready…sharpening their claws and filing their teeth into the perfect fighting tools needed to advance through the life and death battles that make up the tournament.

Last year the contest boiled down to the Double Trouble Gorilla vs the Cats-ish v. Dogs-ish Brown Hyena in the coastal area of Queensland Australia. I’d have to say the battle was less exciting that advertised, but no one expected the interference of a saltwater crocodile on the battlefield. In the end though, I feel the victory by the Gorilla was well deserved and it was nice to see both combatants come out of the match alive – we need all the Gorillas and Brown Hyenas we can get in this world.

Anyway, I am getting ready to turn my attention to the glorious battles of March and anticipate the release of the brackets so I can see who will be rising to the challenge and who will taste the agony of defeat.
