Superboy Had It Right

I was going through an old Batman comic from 1951. Number 65 to be specific, and I was reading it as I was trying to learn more about the DC Metal events that were going on recently when I ran across these panels from a small vignette.

Superboy was commenting that people should know their country and the people that populate it. I started wondering how in 1951 this could be promoted to kids reading comics while we seem to be still unable to live this way almost 70 years later.

Perhaps we should all take some wise advice from a comicbook that’s over half a century old.
