Black Tom Cassidy…Black Sheep

Having not read all the Marvel Comics in the Complete Marvel Reading Order…yet, my first introduction to Black Tom was in the Deadpool 2 movie.

In the movie he is in prison and on a prisoner transport truck so he doesn’t get to do much villainy stuff so perhaps I’ll get to see what he’s like in the Chris Claremont and Dave Cockrum’s X-Men series.

I’m just getting to the Phoenix Saga (in X-Men #101) and the dramatic events dealing with Jean Grey’s near death and the X-Men are sent off to a forced vacation to Ireland and Banshee’s family castle. Little did I know Black Tom and Banshee are cousins.
