Friday Comic-Con @ Home 2020
This year because of the COVID pandemic, there is no Comic-Con down at the San Diego Convention Center. That place is actually full of people that need assistance – either housing or medical. But the bottom line is, with the virus floating around there is no comics convention in downtown San Diego this year.
That is not stopping Comic-Con from going forward though.
Instead of the annual trek to the pop culture Mecca, we are instead able to participate in the wonderful yearly event from the goodness of our homes.
This year we get…Comic-Con @ Home.

In this panel, two recent biographers of Stan Lee–Danny Fingeroth (A Marvelous Life: The Amazing Story of Stan Lee) and Abraham Riesman (True Believer: The Rise and Fall of Stan Lee) join comics historian/writer Fred Van Lente (The Comic-Book History of Comics) and playwright Crystal Skillman (King Kirby) to explore pivotal moments in Lee and Kirby’s shared history and attempt to shed more light on the complicated dynamic that produced some of the greatest characters in comics–and some of the bitterest recriminations. Rob Salkowitz (Forbes, Comic-Con and the Business of Pop Culture) moderates. - HBO Max and Cartoon Network Studios: Adventure Time: Distant Lands

It’s a Wrap
Friday looks to be jam packed just as Thursday was and now that I’m going through the schedule I am really starting to miss the preparation and hype of Comic-Con.
Friday brings some good DC and Marvel panels as well as one on Adventure Time which I am really looking forward to.
Last year I sat through the Infinity Train panel to see something else but it turned out pretty cool. Unfortunately I didn’t figure out when to watch the show. This year, I’m gonna try to see the panel purposefully and then figure out how to watch the show.
And I’m really looking forward to checking out the Blade Runner panel.
On the whole, Friday looks great and I am getting excited for the Con @ Home.
