DC Universe New Weekly Releases January 7, 2020

DC Comics started to release new comics to their DC Universe platform about a year after they enter circulation as floppies. With that in mind, I decided to list off those released each week as I do for Marvel Unlimited. The DC releases come out on Monday just like the Marvel comics but since they are pushed to their site in the evening I figured I’d publish their list on Tuesday…

Regardless, here’s what I think will be available for this week that was released January 2nd, 2019:

New Stories Beginning…

These issues represent new beginnings and places to start a new volume. They could very well make a good spot to jump onto a title.

Batgirl Vol. 6: Old Enemies
It’s Batgirl for Congress! Not to mention masked assassins and awkward exes! Barbara Gordon volunteers to campaign for an up-and-coming reformer candidate who wants to take on the GCPD. That puts Barbara in a tough spot against her father-police commissioner James Gordon. Plus, the Terrible Trio strike! Collects Batgirl #30–36.
