Issue 2
It started with stealing a scabbard in the first issue but here we see that the “archeologists” are trying to resurrect King Arthur. The problem with that is the King turns out to a bit unfriendly to folks who do not share pure British bloodlines. But while Arthur kills all but the Celt, Elaine, he revives those he slew to become his undead knights.

Gran and Duncan discreetly follow the thieves and while they pass by the Ladies of the Lake and reach the chamber where Arthur’s sarcophagus lies, they are too late to prevent the King’s reanimation. Things don’t look too good as Arthur has his Gwain and will soon recruit a Galahad to his cause and while the goals of Elaine aren’t clear yet, the King certainly looks like he’s got quite a bit of power that hasn’t been seen on Earth for centuries.

This second issue keeps up the quick pace and compelling story of the series and I’m loving it!

Verdict

I rate this issue another Must Read as I find this series a lot of fun.
