Daily Ramble 22: Marvel Selections and Disney+ Excitement
Ok, so I only got started in my exploration of what Disney+ will have available today at launch and I’m pretty excited for the few titles I saw. To make this a complete Disney day, I also picked several issues from yesterday’s Marvel Unlimited New Releases that I’d like to add to my pull list this week.
Disney+
Interestingly enough, I already own all the MCU movies – since I wanted to watch them all before Endgame released – and I have all the Star Wars movies – since I wanted to watch them all before The Rise of Skywalker releases later this year (rewatched them all up to The Empire Strikes Back – so these aren’t the content I am looking for…
Instead I’m drooling over the animated releases…
In particular I am excited that the X-Men from the 1990s is gonna be available on day one. I’m also looking forward to the LEGO movies since I haven’t seen any of those except the specific The LEGO Movie but I’ve heard they’re pretty good. I’m also looking forward to The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. And of course the Spider-Man cartoons were classic as well.
So…yeah, I’m really excited for watching some cool animated content from Disney+ and maybe after I check these offerings out, I’ll find some live action titles to watch…
Oh yeah, I almost forgot, The Mandalorian looks like it’s gonna be awesome.
Marvel Additions
This week I’m looking at adding 5 issues to my growing Marvel backlog.

by Greg Pak and Gang Hyuk Lim.
There’ll be more when I take a look at the essentials I want to add from years back and there will most likely be an X-Men comic or two that come out on Wednesday that I’ll be interested in so these 5 will be plenty from Marvel Unlimited.
