Comic-Con Plans for Thursday

Today is the first day of panels at the 2019 Annual San Diego Comic-Con and as usual it’s packed with stuff I want to see. With that in mind, I’ve got a few things that I suppose I’ll rate as higher priority but even if I can’t get to those panels I’m sure I’ll still have a great day.

First things first…I’m hoping to get into the Impractical Jokers panel at the Horton Grand Theatre. I’m pretty sure in all my 25 years of attendance, I’ve never been to a panel there so this’ll be interesting. It also requires a special ticket.

The Impractical Jokers panel doesn’t start until 7:30 at night but because I need a Golden Ticket, I’ve gotta line up in the Autograph Area before the 9am drawing. Then, to make things even more regimented, I need to show up at the venue at least 15 minutes before the show (if I get a ticket) or else I will forfeit my seat to standby ticket holders. This is probably one of the most restrictive panels I’ve ever tried to go to at Comic-Con but…I’m certainly looking forward to at least trying to go.

The other main panel I’m hoping to get into is the Home Movies 20th Anniversary Reunion panel in 6BCF. This presentation isn’t till 4:45 so there’s plenty of time between waiting for Impractical Jokers tickets at 9am and this to see a bunch of stuff…we’ll see what’s available.
