Chapter 6 of The Rook took a look at a ‘typical’ interrogation that is conducted by the Checquy. I suppose typical actually means it’s the only one we’ve seen so far since I usually don’t expect fights to break out between the observers and interrogators during and after the questioning. If that’s what the organization does on an every day basis I’d be surprised anyone chooses to work with for them.

In any case, Chapter 7 heads back to Myfanwy’s childhood where we see a bit more about how she came to be Thomas.

Planes, Supers, and Gotham

Batman #1 I am Gotham: Part One by Tom King, David Finch, Matt Banning, and Jordie Bellaire. Published by DC Comics, 2016.
This is the start of not just the I am Gotham story arc but is is the beginning of the Rebirth era for Batman and it sees blockbuster action involving the Bat riding a jumbo jet, dodging skyscrapers in Gotham. It’s a good start for the title but with a couple of new supers in town, could it be the end for Batman? I definitely recommend giving this a Read as it’s a good story, the art is cool, and it’s a good jumping on point if you’ve ever been interested in the Caped Crusader.
