The West is the Best

Once again I find myself loving a quirky title featuring Kate Bishop and written by Kelly Thompson. I really enjoy her writing and the character, and maybe since I live on the Best Coast I’m preferential to seeing a comic of heroes out here in Southern California.
In any case, this issue kicks off the West Coast Avengers with a spectacular race through the streets of Santa Monica on the backs of land sharks and it ends with a battle against a 60 foot woman. In between we see the Hawkeyes, Kate and Clint, putting together a team of unlikely and kinda misfit heroes to deal with some of the wackiness that is ever occurring in Los Angeles. I definitely give this a Must Read for its fun and creative story as well as the great pacing and artistic style that brings the Hawkeyes together with Gwenpool, America, Fuse, Quentin Quire, and though I’m pretty sure he’s not really a member of the team…B.R.O.D.O.K. It’s an enjoyable read and I’m looking forward to the next issue which I’m gonna read soon since the first 3 area already on Marvel Unlimited.
