The Inhumans are Kinda Cool
Today was a busy day and I only had time to put together some thoughts on a comic. It was a good one though that continues to build do up the early Marvel Universe.
Another Lee & Kirby Supergroup
Fantastic Four #45 Among Us Hide…The Inhumans by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, Joe Sinnott. Published by Marvel Comics, 1965.
With Medusa and Gorgon appearing in the last issue, we see for the first time that they are part of an entire group of beings called the Inhumans in this issue. Along with the Inhuman Medusa and Gorgon, we meet Karnak, Triton, beautiful Crystal, lovable Lockjaw, and of course their leader Black Bolt.
But our fantastic team doesn’t really interact with the new beings much as they’re dealing with Dragon Man’s kidnapping of Sue while Johnny is chasing pretty girls. Eventually things settle down at the Baxter Building with Dragon Man and the team races to Johnny’s emergency signal where they are confronted by Karnak and Gorgon before Black Bolt shows up to end the issue.
I think this is a pretty good Read for a set up issue and am looking forward to see where things go with this new group of super beings.
