Ballads and Dossiers
Leaving Bingo Boffin For Now
For the last few gaming sessions in Lord of the Rings Online I’ve been running around The Shire performing various tasks and picking stuff up for Bingo Boffin. I’m not really sure why I’m running these quests other than they’re fun and they tell a story. For whatever reason I somehow got a bit outta sync with the main story quest since it took off to Bree while I still had plenty to do in The Shire. So I started up The Ballad of Bingo Boffin and it’s a pretty fun series of tasks. I’m not really sure how things work on the Legendary servers but the original ballad was set up as weekly episodic quests where you had to wait for the next week before you could pick up another quest. I’m not sure if you build up a queue of quests previously but it seems I was able to grab a few of the quests even after they indicated I had to wait a week. Regardless, I am now at the point where the level of the quest is making me hesitate. The next quest is labeled as level 16 and I think I want to wait a bit before I try to tackle it with my level 14 Minstrel. Sure I can handle myself pretty well but I also need to get back to the main story line and find out what happened to Amdir and what Strider has in store for me.
Learning More About Young Justice
Young Justice: Secret Files & Origins #1 – Take Back the Night By D. Curtis Johnson, Ale Garza, and Cabin Boy (and a bunch of others for the additional stories and files). Published by DC Comics, 1999. In Young Justice #4, the girls joined up with the team and now they’re 6. Robin, Superboy, Impulse, Arrowette, Wonder Girl, and Secret, with adult supervision from Red Tornado make up the Young Justice team and in this issue they take a trip back to where Secret was held captive for years. Along the way they get ahold of the D.E.O. files on themselves which are nice to see so the reader can get some good background on our heroes.
This was a good issue to get a better understanding of the heroes and such but because it was not on DC Universe and I had to buy the comic from Comixology that pushed it down to a Read for me.
