Disliked My Post at the Dentist

I had a post put together covering yesterday’s games but I hated it as I spent way to long at the dentist today. Oh well the bottom line is…Houston won and moved closer to the AL West title. Oakland won and guaranteed they are in the playoffs. The Dodgers moved closer to clinching the NL West and Colorado held on to their hope as they won and St. Louis lost.

And the Pitcher of the Day goes to Bryan Mitchell of the Padres who almost threw a complete game shutout. As it was, he threw 8 2/3 innings giving up 7 hits and striking out 7 and the Padres beat San Francisco 5–0.
