3 In A Row
With a solid outing by Felix Peña the Angels win their 3rd in a row. Sure, it was against the Padres who aren’t the strongest team in baseball, but it’s still a string of victories.
A Sweep of the Padres
Felix threw 6 innings of one run ball, only giving up an unearned run. He struck out 7 and only allowed 2 hits and his solid pitching set the offense up for success.
Offensively, David Fletcher, Andrelton Simmons, and René Rivera each picked up a couple of hits and powered the team to a 3–2 victory. Rivera had the biggest hit with a home run in the 9th inning. The home run coming on the day he came off the disabled list nabs him my Player of the Game.
