First Look at the Saturday Schedule at #SDCC2018
Last time I took a quick look at the Friday Schedule but today I take my first look at Saturday’s panels.
6 Days to #SDCC2018…less than a week
Saturday seems to have a bit of everything and it’s all over the place. Normally I like picking a room and sticking there for a large portion of Saturday but this year things are pretty well laid out such that things I want to see are in different rooms and many things are at the same time unfortunately.
Here’s my first look…
- Indigo Ballroom – The Good Place, Krypton, Deadly Class, Twin Peaks. The Good Place really seems to be going all out this year with stuff outside the tents and this panel and I think I’m gonna make a concerted effort to see what they have to say about this show I really enjoy. The other panel I. The Indigo Ballroom I’m interested in is happening a lot later on Saturday – Deadly Class. I enjoyed reading the first volume of this comic and I am looking forward to seeing how it’s adapted for the small screen.
- Room 6A – My Hero Academia, The Man in the High Castle, Project Blue Book. My Hero Academia is Proving to be a fun anime and a manga that I might soon read while The Man in the High Castle is finally coming back. I’m looking forward to that show’s continuation and then also the start of History Channel’s Project Blue Book about the real world government study of aliens.
- Room 8 – Kodansha Comics: Battle Angel Alita and Ghost in the Shell. I gotta at least think about going to see the _Battle Angel Alita_panel.
- Room 7AB – Spotlight on R.A. Salvatore. I love his drow elf, Drizzt Do’Urden and think this could be a fun panel to check out.
- Ballroom 20 – The Simpsons, The Flash. Always The Simpsons and The Flash is one of my favorites right now.
- Room 28DE – The Adventure Zone Graphic Novel. This is one of my favorite podcasts so I have to at least think about seeing these guys in person.
- Hall H – Women who Kick Ass, Deadpool 2, Kevin Smith.
- Room 24ABC – Alien Worlds: NASA’s Quest for Life, D&D. I always have enjoyed panels with NASA people in attendance and this one looks pretty cool.
