Solo, Puppies, and my Paladin
Daily Ramble 146: Solo, Puppies, and my Paladin
This was a pretty busy weekend but one in which a lot of things happened. I watched the Puppy Bowl instead of the Super Bowl…no politics in with the puppies; I played some Neverwinter online; and I got around to watching the Solo trailer and I’m excited for what the movie will reveal.
Solo
Just got done watching the Solo Star Wars trailer and I think it looks pretty cool. I like the broadening of the story that Disney seems to be doing, giving us so much back story to the events that are beloved by the fans.
Blacklake District
This past weekend I got a chance to put some time into Neverwinter Online and I am finding that I’m enjoying things much more this time around. I ran around the Protector’s Enclave a bunch knocking off some basic quests and then headed out to the Blacklake District.
This area is where I usually have stopped playing in the past as I just didn’t find things that exciting. For whatever reason, this time around I enjoyed myself though. I’m pretty sure the quests were the same but maybe it’s because I’m playing a Paladin rather than a Cleric. I find that the variety of offensive powers that I’ve selected for my build work well together and I seem to always have somethign to do. I’ll get into my current build in another post when I have access to it, but needless to say, I took attack and defensive abilities and left the healing for later. I think what happened with the Cleric is that I took healing and found that I needed it…quite often…since I was taking too much damage. The Paladin takes a beating but I feel pretty secure in my survivability so far.
Eagles Win!
Congratulations to the Philedelphia Eagles on winning the Superbowl. This was actually the first time I’ve ver intentionally NOT watched the game. I just couldn’t see myself supporting a dport that prioritizes politics of the game they’re supposed to be playing. I heard that none of the players chose to make political statements so I applaud that, but I didn’t watch the overhyped game anyway. From what I heard, it was a decent game and the fact that New England lost was a bonus, but the NFL needs to fix itself before I spend any time watching their advertising and supporting them.
