Daily Ramble 107: Say Goodbye to Kingsmouth

It’s been a long time coming but I’m finally done with all the missions in Kingsmouth, though now that I think about it, I didn’t finish off the dungeon quests…oh well, I will. Kingsmouth has been my home for a few months and it’s where I first started learning about the Illuminati, the Morninglight, Orochi, the Draug, the Fog, and tons more that have shaped who I am today. But today I head out to the Savage Coast to continue my journeys in Secret World Legends. It’s bittersweet since I love this town but I have to move on to figure out the riddle of this world.

Kingsmouth Complete

The final 2 missions in Kingsmouth went uneventfully but just required a bit of searching to locate. Somehow I had missed them as I travelled the town during the main mission and moving from hub to hub, but there they were, right in the middle of everything. Oh well, it gave the Sun a chance to come out as I took my last steps in Kingsmouth as a resident.

Actually, I don’t remember the last time I saw the Sun in town, it’s always been covered by the fog that’s infested the area. I wonder if the Savage Coast will have a similar pall and also where I’ll find a place to lay my hat. In Kingsmouth, I always went to the Sheriff’s Department after an eventful gaming session.

This was my home and it’ll be sad moving away. I spent many weeks in this town and Sheriff Bannerman was always there to answer any questions I had. She never complained about me staying in the station and I kinda think she liked me a bit. I sure hope that after I leave there’ll be someone who comes by soon to help them maintain their cameras and gather supplies from around the area. But I’m sure I’ll come back at some point to check up on them. I hope I made a difference here.

Headed to the Savage Coast

With my goodbyes said, I head out on the highway towards the Savage Coast. I’m sure there will be adventures to be had in this new land but I also have to be careful. Just as Kingsmouth held strange creatures and nefarious organizations I’m certain that wasn’t a localized phenomena. The Savage Coast is sure to have it’s fair share but hopefully I’ll be able to use what I’ve learned in Kingsmouth in this new area.
