Elm Street Blues

Another section I wanted to try resurrecting is what I like to call my Views from Beyond the Gate.  This category takes a look at people I meet in the game – either NPCs, monsters, or other players.  There’s also a few locations if they play a significant role in the game and aren’t really exploration locations (those go over in Tannhauser Traveller).

Today I spent a bunch of time with Deputy Andy.

He’s 2nd in command at the sheriff’s station in Kingsmouth and he stands guard on top of the building.  He’s doing a pretty good job of keeping the zombies away from the station, but he needed a bit of help today with trying to figure out where these guys keep coming from.  Apparently down the street from all the barricades they think thryve found a Draug Warmonger who is spawning all these zombies and if I take him down, they might get a bit of a rest at the department.

Here’s the big bad guy causing all the trouble.  He was guarded by a couple more zombies, but after taking them down it was a matter of dodging and spamming my abilities.  He went down and Andy was finally able to get some rest.

I may have gone through these missions in the past, but since you can repeat things in Secret World Legends you’ll always have stuff to do.  And I always like hanging out at the sheriffs station whenever I visit Kingsmouth…it’s just safer that way.
