Fishy Expedition

Now that I’ve worked through the Nature Staff, the Frost Staff, and the Fire Staff, I think I’m close to being ready for the Tier 4 solo expeditions. But as I was getting ready, I ‘leveled’ up and unlocked the Tier 4 weapons.

So I stuck with the Tier 3 Expedition and tried out my new Great Fire Staff and Fishy Business was no match for my updated weapon.

The main difference is that this thing requires 2 hands so I can’t use my book to add to my cast speed. It also has a nice instant cast AOE on the E that does some good damage.

The bottom line is I kill things quicker with this thing and don’t have to worry as much about getting hit and needing to heal up.

I’m really enjoying the expeditions since I get to solo some decent content. Albion is not like so many other MMOs where you’re questing and being hand held along a series of preset missions to earn gold and experience. Sure, the expeditions laid out in a predefined manner, but they’re repeatable. So I’ve gone through them with with each of my weapons and after some testing, I’m definitely sticking with the Great Fire Staff. With it, I blast through the content in no time and I get the bonus Silver with little effort. I just wish I could get the extra loot more than once a day.
