#2017MMM Headed To The Final Four
#2017MMM And Then There Were Four…
Weeks of contests have whittled down the field from 68 to 4, and here are your Final Four Mammals.
The Spactacled Bear
Having taken out the Sac-Winged Bat, the Spotted Skunk, the White Headed Capuchin, this Bear headed to the Santa Monica Mountains in California to battle the Clouded Leopard. Even though the Bear is over 4 times the size of the cat, the cat is pretty tough and puts up a good fight. The Bear gets a nice swipe in, though, that the cat can’t recover from.
The Short Faced Bear
This Bear is on a rampage, taking down the Quokko, the Pegasus, and the Leopard Seal before taking on the Neanderthal Hunting Party. The party was only a duo at this point though since so many took damage from previous fights. Still it was 2 on 1 and the Bear proved to be the better combatant.
The Spider Monkey
This guy was lucky his opponents. Seeded 4th in the Two Animal One Mammal division, the Monkey took on the Kangaroo Rat, the Antelope Squirrel, and the Bear Cat before facing the upstart Hog Deer. Fortunately for the Monkey, the battle took place in the Monkey’s back yard and he was able to chase the Deer off.
The Honey Badger
Rolling over the Southern Marsupial Mole, the Gila Momster, and the Aardwolf, the tournament favorite faced off against the Guanaco. Who would think an herbivore would make the Elite Eight, but it did. It also did what everyone expected…got taken down by the Honey Badger. As usual, she didn’t care about any Guanaco spit and rolled right over the larger Mammal. I’m not sure anything will stop this Honey Badger.
So many good battles and I’m looking forward to the Final Four matchups next week.
