Nioh…the Story so far

This is an installment of my Nioh Challenge series in which I try to get through the Nioh storyline and see how many deaths it takes me.

Nioh Challenge Entry #7: Finding out the Story of Nioh

The story of Nioh is starting to take shape. Apparently Edward Kelley is some alchemist English dude who wants to collect Amrita for the glory of the crown, or so he claims. He seems nefarious enough though that he probably has designs on becoming King as well. In any case, he somehow knows about my guardian spirit and is determined to take it from me so it will help him find the Amrita. To that end, he captured me and threw me in the Tower of London to wait to be executed.

My name is William Adams and I am a real dude from England back in the 16th – 17th centuries and I don’t plan on getting executed in the Tower of London.

This Edward Kelley is the big bad of Nioh and since he plans on stealing something from me, I’m gonna make sure he doesn’t or I’m gonna take him out and get it back.

Apparently I’m gonna have to head to Japan to take care of Edward based on this discussion I overheard…

Now that I have a better idea of what’s going on, I really need to get outta this tower…I don’t want to be executed in the morning. And actually, I don’t think Kelley’s stolen anything form me yet so if I can survive and break outta here, I might be able to avoid this whole thing.

This was a short trip into the world of Nioh but I learned a lot. I guess it was a good trip since I learned by listening rather than dying. So far my deathless streak is up to 3 entries…hopefully I can make it to four next time.
