Destiny Frustration and PS4 Joy

Today was a crazy day so I didn’t have much time to game or put much time into a post, but here we are…

Quest Hubs

I did fire up Destiny for a few minutes and came to the realization there’s something that I am becoming annoyed by. Quest Hubs, or at least what I’ve come to consider a quest hub…the Tower, takes forever to fly to.

I suppose that since I’m on the Moon it takes longer to get back to Earth and the Tower where everyone is, but it is frustrating that this simple process of getting to my new quests or turning in my missions takes so long.  I mean, I’m only level 11, so hopefully things will change, but it really crimps my style. To wait so long to get to the Tower and then so long again to get back to the Moon…boring!

PS4 External Hard Drive

I happened across the PlayStation Blog today and some good news…

The 4.50 update will add the capability to my PS4 to store and access games on an external hard drive…no more deletion of games I want to play to put something I want to try out on my system.

I am so looking forward to this!  There are games I’d love to give a try but since I can only have about 3-4 games on my internal hard drive, this is a godsend.  Yeah, I know I could upgrade the internal drive, but I’m lazy and I don’t want to bother with possible screwing up.  External USB 3.0 is much more my speed right now.  I mean I buy laptops because I got so tired of upgrading my hardware every other week so I don’t even want to bother with a console.

I any case…yeah!!!  I’m so excited for this to be realeased.
