Destiny Journal Entry #6: There are too many
Yesterday I tried and failed on my first attempt at The Last Array mission where I had to return to Russia and establish contact to the outer colonies throughout the solar system. Suffice to say that I didn’t even get to the point of having my Ghost start to process the communication codes.
Today I got past that point, but not much further. This mission is pretty difficult for my current skill at Destiny – particularly when I played some Battlefield 1 and had a different melee action in my muscle memory.
Basically, once you get through the initial mobs to let your Ghost start doing its thing, you have to protect it from wave after wave of bad guys. These waves include Knights, Wizards, and eventually a Hallowed Knight.
Not only was this guy tough, but the mass of Thralls and Dregs that came at me in the waves ran me out of bullets…multiple times.
This is definitely a mission step that you have to have your cooldowns ready for and be topped off on ammo. I thought I was good with ammo, but using my sniper rifle was not the best.
I did pick up a shotgun that I think I’ll try using the next time I give this mission a try.
Needless to say, I died a few more times attempting to get through this onslaught.
