Xin Healing and Learing in LOTRO
Xin Heals More Than Soraka?
I was finishing up my latest match, taking a look at the stats when I noticed something interesting. While I didn’t have the most damage done to champions win Xin this game, I did have a top value for one of the stats…healing. And that was with a Soraka on the opposing team.
I healed 19,148 points of damage while the Soraka healed for 17,969.
Wow – I knew Xin’s Battle Cry passive was good, but I didn’t know it healed for that much!
Here’s what it says on the League web site:
Now, I’m pretty sure the green +40% bonus Attack Damage is supposed to be +40% Ability Power since every other listing in green (for Xin or other champs) on the site is Ability Power. But regardless of that, he pushes out a bunch of healing particularly when focusing on attack speed. With Bloodrazor, Trinity force, and a Dagger, I had some hefty Attack Speed so I was procing my heal pretty quickly. Still, I was surprised to out heal the champ most dedicated to healing in the game.
I wonder what things would be like if I took the Vampirism master to bring some Lifesteal and Spell Vamp into the healing equation.
Exploring the Lord of the Rings
Dr. Corey Olsen is hosting an in-depth trip through LOTRO and the Lord of the Rings books over on Twitch and Youtube. I just heard about it and was busy during the first class in any case, but I plan on listening to the YouTube when I get a chance. I think it’s kinda cool since one of my goals this year is to get through to max level in LOTRO.
The classes are live on Twitch and in game on Tuesdays and they say they’ll move from server to server so everyone will have a chance to participate in game. From the looks of the first episode, it seems there are a bunch of people that showed up for the first class – pretty cool.
