Clearing out the Corruption

I was distracted by Gorebeak in my last trip to Azeroth, but now I’m determined to get the Archdruid of the Vale to help me out. As with the other druids, Thaon Moonclaw has a few tasks he wants me to take care of before he can commit to assisting me in my mission to wake Cenarius. But rather than gather x number of things or kill y number of things, he is much more direct.

In order to free the Vale of evil influences we first must kill Xandris the Dishonored.

This turned out to be pretty easy since he was all alone in his hut…I didn’t have to worry about his buddies jumping me from behind.

Next we had to take down Kagraxxis the Corruptor

He had some friends or should I say fiends hanging around corrupting the Vale so I took them out as well.

Not only did he have his friends but he was cooped up in the Moonclaw Cavern. Luckily I had my prowl stealth so I could get to him without attracting too much attention.

He went down pretty easily, but Evelle Nightwhisper, who he had captured, warned that Xavius had returned and was personally managing the corruption of the Vale.

Unfortunately, when I arrived to challenge Xavius, he’d already corrupted Thaon and I had to fight the big cat.  

It was a sad fight as I really didn’t want to hurt him, but I eventually had to. With the Archdruid of the Vale corrupted and ultimately taken down my me, I worry we might not be able to cure Cenarius in time.
