Final Week of Fantasy Football
Well, I have to say I’m glad the season is over. It’s not over for everyone as some are fortunate enough to have made the playoffs, but week 13 is the last of the regular season. Once gain I lost
Even though I was losing the past few weeks I still paid attention to my team and moved players around so I feel like I accomplished my mission. I also kept up with my boycott of the NFL. I’m not sure if they are making any changes or continuing to support the anti-American political statement of a few misguided players, but it really doesn’t matter to me any further this season.
Actually, the only thing I know about the NFL is that the Cowboys are doing pretty well and once again, San Diego voted to NOT spend public money on a new stadium to allow the millionaires to play games in the service of billionaires. I wonder if the City of San Francisco spent any public funding for a stadium to support certain players making political statements – would/should that be considered illegal public support of a political stance?
Regardless, here are the standings as they are now.
I barely managed to stay out of last place. That would have been a story – first to worst, but then its not usual when you have a draft run under one set of rules and the season run with a different scoring system. Yeah, the draft was run with a point per yard for kick returns and punt returns and I drafted to the rules…the day after the draft, AFTER I brought up the rules I drafted under, the commissioner changed the rules to make the scoring a fraction of what I was expecting…needless to say I almost finished last. Oh well…there’s always next season.
