6° 2.0 Episode 3 – 4th Degree – Gaming SF

Today I am continuing my 3rd episode of 6° 2.0 with a visit to Gaming SF. As a 4th degree site, this is my first trip here so in addition to the post I read, I also took a look around the site. Along with Warcraft, which is the focus of this post, the blog covers many games including Lord of the Rings and EQ2 and seems to have a diversity of gaming topics I aspire to imitate.

Gaming SF – WoW: World Quests Ahoy!

In this post, Telwyn talks about quickly completing the requirements for world quests after reaching level 110 in Legion. From the descriptions and pictures, I can’t wait to get to level cap and explore Suramar. And the screenshots of Highmountain are just gorgeous. In addition to the world quests, Telwyn highlighted a world boss take down and received a 860 helmet for his efforts.

Unfortunately, I’m still sitting at level 100 but I plan to put some effort into leveling this weekend. Everything I’ve heard about the Legion expansion gives it pretty high ratings, including this post and I worry I’m gonna fall behind. I’ve never been a quick leveler and usually like to take my time in game, but I figure it’s time to get started.

Telwyn paints a nice word picture of the new content and since he mentions playing a Druid, I figure I should have no issue with my main. One thing I need to look into is wether I should level as Cat or Balance or if they actually let Trees level in this expansion – one of the other posts on the site mentions leveling as a healer, but I’m not sure if the tier 3 affinity talents can provide enough damage.

In any case, I think I’ll keep reading Gaming SF in the future as I’ve enjoyed my visit.
