6° 2.0 Episode 1 – 4th Degree – Ancient Mana

The first episode of my new 6° continues with the 4th degree, and this time I look at a second site for someone who’s been through Newbie Blogger Initiatives and Blaugusts in the past. I’ve know her before as Missy, but she goes by Lana on this new site…

Ancient Mana – Sparks Fired

Lana over at Ancient Mana is doing what a lot of us are right now…becoming familiar with the Legion invasions and waiting for the expansion to finally arrive. She’s also playing Diablo to pass the time.

For me, playing a Druid, I’ve enjoyed the expanded flexibility of not having to decide on 2 specs to use. Finally I have a chance to explore all 4 flavors of Druid without having to do some arcane dance that takes forever and screws everything up – what took so long Blizzard?

For Lana, she’s been working on getting a new Demon Hunter leveled up and running the Broken Shore on her Shaman. And she’s enjoying the all the new cut-scenes and I agree – it’s a good way to draw players into the story and the game world. It allows us to become more immersed and when there are so many people coming back for the expansion, this is a great thing.

And also with Lana, I agree that the story they are developing for Legion seems to draw me in even more. After leaving WoW for the last expansion basically, the invaders are something that is really making me feel like I should be doing something about them. Lana even mentions goosebumps on some of the cut-scenes, and I too feel a bit of emotion after knowing these characters for so long. Hopefully the expansion will keep the story good and these emotions coming.

As for her time in Diablo, Lana is having a blast getting past the original story finally and stepping into Reaper of Souls. I am jealous since I still haven’t completed the original tale…someday. Fortunately, Diablo is one of those games I have no problem being behind and dropping into randomly.

I’m happy to see Lana/Missy posting again and hope she keeps it up. I enjoy reading her exploits in the various games she’s playing and how things are going with her puppy. Thanks for opening a window on your life to your friends on the web.
