6° 2.0 Episode 1 – 2nd Degree – Aeternus Gaming
Continuing with my first episode of 6° 2.0, I ’m again looking at a blog participating in the Blaugust event.
Aeternus Gaming – Events Galore
I was introduced to Sandrian’s blog last year during Blaugust 2015 and have continued to read it throughout the year. This post covers the current events going on in WoW, Overwatch, and FFXIV and how Sandrian’s is trying to do as much as possible in each of these games.
For myself, I ran through a bit of the Legion invasion instances, but Sandrian looks as though he’s leveled up a bunch of characters to max level through these events which is pretty cool. And in doing so, settled on keeping the Warrior, Shaman, Hunter, and Demon Hunter at max level when it increases at the end of the month.
The post goes on to discuss the Olympic event in Overwatch which I didn’t get into. Perhaps I should’ve tried playing that part of the game rather than trying to get to ranked play, instead I didn’t achieve anything in the game except that I learned how to play a bit. Sandrian actually participated enough to get some cool skins and poses.
Finally, the post discusses the Yo-Kai event in Final Fantasy. One thing that Sandrian recognizes is that like me, with Legion coming soon, more time is being spent on WoW than other games. For me though, I still haven’t taken the time to get very far in FFXIV while Sandrain is talking about getting the Astrologian and Ninja leveled up to 50.
In all, it’s a good post looking at the various events and it’s one of many interesting entries over at Aeternus Gaming. It’s interesting how so many games rely on events to draw players back in and keep them interested in playing.
