6° 2.0 Episode 1 – 1st Degree – Tales of the Aggronaut
Kicking off my 6° version 2.0, I went with a site who’s interesting topics, informative posts, and leadership in the community I aspire to emulate.
Tales of the Aggronaut – Fixed Mostly
Belghast has been playing Warcraft again along with quite a few people that had put the game on the shelf for the past few months. That tends to happen, of course, when an expansion is at its end of life, a state in which Warlords has been for a while.
Like everyone else going back into WoW, me included, he’s running through the Legion invasion content and seems to be enjoying it. The post covers the updates that reduced the AFK leveling that was going on and Blizzard’s efforts to get the balance right between experience gain and participation level.
One part I found enlightening was the coverage of saving NPCs. I was unaware that if you find and save the various NPCs scattered around the invasion areas, they will follow you and assist you throughout the invasion. That’s something I need to check out since I’m only level 16. Also, Belghast covers some of the vehicles you can use in the battle, which, once again, I need to try out. Finally, a strategy is recommended for gaining the most experience in the currently updated events.
This post, along with most on Tales of the Aggronaut, was an enjoyable read. Belghast puts together useful information about the games he plays along with neat anecdotes about his gameplay. With his activity in the gaming blogosphere, he’s someone I follow on a regular basis and I’m thankful for his sponsorship of things like Blaugust.
