Microbrews and a Win

Maybe I should try to start writing or reading beer reviews? I don’t know, I don’t drink much beer but San Diego is one of the larger microbrewing cities in the country and I’ve been to quite a few places recently that have over 100 beers on tap. It be nice to know what’s what in the bar when I go and have to choose from among 150 different beers. If I get a review or at least sampling I should be able to tell a hell of a lot better which brews I’ll enjoy and which ones I’d like to have with different foods. I think I’m going to give that a try sometime. In any case I decided tonight that instead of writing a blog post I was going to drive out to meet a buddy and grab a beer. I guess I put this little post together as I was driving out there, so it works.

Angels Win!

By the way I was pretty happy with my Angels today and Tim Lincecum. He pitched a pretty decent game even though he only went six innings but a 7-1 win is still a win regardless of how many innings your starter goes. Hopefully this is going to help the team turn things around and start playing better. I’d like to see them at least reach the 500 Mark.

Anyway this beautiful picture of Mission Bay Park was the reason I didn’t put a post together earlier. It was a great day.
