Star Trek Beyond to Premiere at Comic-Con

On Wednesday, July 20th, Star Trek Beyond will be premiering at San Diego Comic-Con.

I guess this has been known for about a week, but I finally have the opportunity to comment on it…I’m excited.  I’ve seen plenty of concerts at the Embarcadero on San Diego Bay and they are always fun.  The wonderful mix of the music, ocean breeze, and atmosphere is a blast.  I can only imagine what it will be like to actually watch an IMAX movie there.

They haven’t announced a time yet nor when tickets will be available, but I figure the show won’t be able to start until at least 8pm since it won’t be dark enough.

Needless to say, I would love to go.  I’ve seen almost all Star Trek movies on thier opening weekend, and yes that even includes Star Trek V, and to have the possibility to see the movie at a premiere event would just blow my mind.  Top that with a live concert performance by the San Diego Symphony and there’s no way I won’t try to get tickets.
