Why can’t the Angels be OP like Malzahar?

A variety of things caught my interest today…a little League, a little MLB, and a little Wildstar…

Some should be obvious, some looks pretty rough for the NPCs, and for now the other is doing surprisingly well.

Malzahar is OP!

I’m pretty sure patch 6.9 has been out for at least 2 weeks…everyone should know by now that Riot really messed up Malzahar and made him super overpowered.  Why is it that he’s not banned in every game?  I suffered through a game against him…or rather 20 minutes of torture and it wasn’t like he was the first pick, he was the last pick by either team. It was a really pointless waste of 20 minutes, even with Zed mid, Malz dominated…and then it was over…I was only support, but there wasn’t much I could do.  I think I’m gonna dodge if someone selects Malz until he’s fixed – the game is just not fun and not worth the time sink.  Let’s hope he gets fixed soon.

The Angels

Another thing that needs fixing is my Angels. Last week I felt like my team was in a bad place.  I don’t see them in a much better situation right now, but they’ve managed to string together a series of wins…4 in a row is nice but they’re still under .500. At least their heading in the right direction at the moment, I only hope they can keep from having any further injuries. And even though it might be nice to pick up 2 time Cy Young Award winner Tim Lincecum, I’d fear he be more like the 4.13 ERA pitcher he was last season than the 2.81 ERA pitcher he was when he won those awards. 

A Soldier’s Life

As far as injuries…in video games (not baseball), it seems that times are tough for soldiers in Wildstar.  At least in the Northern Wilds.  After turning off the storm and gathering supplies, my next two missions focused on helping out the troops. 

This soldier didn’t do so well though and I had to let his family know the sad news. Our battles with the Dominion take a toll on everyone and we’ve all got to step up to see that they are dealt with. 

These guys were trapped in cocoons, but I set them free so we can take out more Dominion scum. I just worry we’re fighting an uphill battle between the natives and the Dominion. In any case, I’m hoping future missions let me take out some aggression on my real Dominion enemies rather than the natives.
