Civilization VI is Coming

I was just thinking about when the next version was gonna come out and…here it is…

I’m so excited!  I’ve been playing this game for over 2 decades and it always seems to get better.  For me, this will be the game release of 2016.


The feature updates sound pretty cool.  I like the idea of specialized research boosts based on city tiles and cities that span multiple hexes. And the AI updates sound like it has the potential to make every game vastly different. I hope they can pull it off.

  1. Heh. i was playing some Endless Legend last week and wishing I could expand my cities in Civ5 like I can in EL. Nice to see CivVI will copy that feature. And I hope that diplomacy can be improved. It’s still a mess…..

    • It sounds like they’re trying to address diplomacy and looking to make it more diverse, so hopefully they’ll succeed with that.

      I haven’t tried Endless Legend yet though I have it on my wish list. I’ll have to look into it…it’s a long wait till October.
