A Season Fading Fast

My Angels are on the fast track to a horrible season. Every other day it seems they drop another game and another starter to the disabled list. Right now, they’ve got their opening day starter on the 60 day list along with two other starters.  Their big offseason acquisition is on the 15 day dl and needs surgery on his thumb, and their closer is injured as well. They can field a better team with people on the injured reserve than those starting on the field practically. Nothing seems to be going right for them this season but I’ll still pull for them. They may be headed for a bad season, but they can learn from it and grow some character…maybe. 

Fantastic Four

On another down note, I recorded The Fantasitc Four movie the other day.  I haven’t watched it yet, but I think I might give it a shot. I mean, I know it was pretty universally panned, but can it really be that bad?  And if so, shouldn’t I see it so I know how bad it is?  But then, I already passed on an opportunity to watch it over the weekend…I just couldn’t sit for that long with the expectation of feeling disappointed with how I was spending my time. Oh well, I recorded it and will eventually watch it.
