Help out the Survivors

Talking with fellow Exiles on Nexus, I learn that not all the people coming down from Gambler’s Ruin can be accounted for so it’s my first job to try to help out the survivors.

For starters, Darsa Windwalker suggests setting up a locator beacon that will point any survivors to our camp.

So I set out to find the perfect place.  Unfortunately, there were yetis in the way and they weren’t cooperating. They actually tried to stop me from completing my mission and I couldn’t have that.

While they weren’t to difficult to overcome, I did notice something interesting as I fought them. If you look at the ground below me, you can see the shadows of my blades…pretty cool.  The shadow follows the attack all the way to the target – what a cool effect.

After fighting off a few yetis, I found a path to a really high pillar of rock where I could place the beacon to lure the survivors to our camp. It also provided an great overview of the area.

With that view, I was able to locate and escort a bunch of survivors back to camp.

Mission accomplished!  Next thing I gotta do is take a look at the big tower, but that’s for another day.
