CW Renewals for Spring 2016

Well, I'm not sure if it's really Spring because tonight is the Daylight Savings Time spring ahead thing, but I think technically it is still Winter until the Spring Equinox on March 20, but whatever.

The CW Renews iZombie and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend!

Yes…it is good news indeed. Even though neither of these shows is a ratings King (or Queen), I learned that they are both renewed for another season. Sure they may end up being short seasons, but I am totally ecstatic!

These were the 2 shows I was most worried about on The CW. Flash and Legends of Tomorrow were also renewed, but I did not fear they would be cancelled as much.

I am surprised, or rather not really, that Supernatural was renewed again. I used to love this show and was an avid watcher until about season 5 or so. Supposedly that was the last season and they made a big deal about how things were coming to an end and the season finished at a nice end point. But then it was picked up…and again…and again…and now it's picked up for its 12 season. I enjoyed the show, but at this point I'm so far behind, it'd take a month of binge watching just to catch up. Oh well, maybe sometime.

Anyway, I am really pleased that the CW is letting these really cool shows continue. Hopefully they will gain an larger audience now that they are secure for at least another season.
