MOO reboot!

I saw it yesterday and the Early Access moniker and I held off, but after the endorsement of Belghast from Tales of the Aggronaut, I'm gonna have to give the reboot of Master of Orion a shot.

I loved this game when it was current…it sits up there with Civilization 2 and the original Reach for the Stars as one of the games that I could get lost in. I could not conceivably count the number of hours I spent in any of these games…they, in my mind, are icons of what games should be.

While MOO2 was good, MOO3 was very forgettable and I'm glad they are moving back to the original to “reboot”. I really thought the game would be mothballed and we'd never see or hear from it again. Now this…

With Belghast as the guinea pig vouching for the game even in early access, I think I can safely click the buy button and give this a try myself.

I look forward to positive discussions of this blast from the past.

Now if they just reboot City of Heroes.
