Alarming Morning

I thought today was going to be a good day, but when I left my house to get in the car, I set off the alarm. It wasn't like I was trying to cause such an annoyance early in the morning, but I failed my dexterity check and saw my keys falling out of my hand…trying to catch them, I must have critically failed the check since while I did catch them, I grabbed the one spot that would trigger the alarm. Pretty funny considering there is over 95% of the surface area that I could have touched that would not have set off the alarm, but I lucked out. Happy first day of March!

Still Young in LOTRO

I decided to flip back to Lord of the Rings online and pick up where I left my Loremaster…level 4. She's not too much yet, but these early quests don't require too much of her. I've been using my bear to tank pretty much everything, but I haven't really needed her so far – things are dying pretty quickly to my spells and if they get too close…my staff.

I only had a few minutes, but I ran through the Rockbelly Pit to visit the Shrine to Skorgrim.

And then headed out to the Berghold to meet up with Gormr Doursmith.

Killing things throughout, I was able to level up to 5. Another achievement, but a long way to go…I think the max level is something like 105 right now. Levels are coming fast, but I'm still pretty much in the hand-holding area so I expect things will get more exciting soon. Right now, I am just loving the nostalgia and the beauty of the game.
